Currently 98% of our packages are being delivered within our estimated delivery window, however some packages may be delayed due to increased traffic and health and safety protocols, decreased staffing levels and the overall reduction of transportation options for international package traffic due to the covid-19 crisis.
The holiday season is also upon us, and record setting shipping volumes are expected this year. Extended delays are very likely, all carriers have suspended shipping guarantees and customs processing and total shipping times are impossible to accurately predict at this time.
We will ship your order out ASAP and provide you with our best estimate of the delivery window for your items during your checkout process, however this is only an estimate and should not be considered a guarantee of any kind, and no refunds will be given for items delayed beyond our control.
Some email providers block our messages entirely (Cox, for example) so if you still are having trouble receiving our emails please reach out to us with an alternate email address (preferably Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo) that we may use to keep you completely up to date on your order.
It is also possible that they aren't any updates for us to share at this time. While your package is in customs, there will not be any tracking or status updates, but we will let you know as soon as your package clears customs and is on it's way to your delivery address!
You can view your complete order history, including package tracking information, delivery estimates and current status by logging into your account at https://www.gotithere.com/account/login. Alternatively, to track your package from start to finish, just enter your tracking number athttps://www.17track.net/en. We find 17track to be a little bit less user-friendly than some other tracking sites, but it contains a LOT of information about your package. Be advised though, data can be as much as 72 hours out of date, and some of the translations are a little bit difficult to interpret.
Regardless of where your package is going, or when it was sent, we always track all packages constantly, and will make sure that you are notified every step of the way.
This is completely normal, and will occur on _every_ single shipment.
This "gap" in your tracking information starts when your package is sent to US Customs for import inspection and clearance. US Customs does not provide any status updates of any kind, nor do they provide any ETAs. All that we can do from the moment that your package is sent to them, is wait for them to complete the inspection process and release it to the USPS.
We are constantly monitoring your tracking information on your behalf, and as soon as that happens, your tracking will be updated and you will be notified that your package is back underway!
