An African grey parrot lies on its back with both feet raised and its beak open, caught in an unusual companion-bird portrait against a clean white studio background. Its bright eye, lifted feet, and finely patterned grey feathers remain visible from head to wing as the upside-down pose gives the bird a playful appearance. Scalloped plumage covers the body beneath the raised talons, and the relaxed posture makes the familiar parrot look especially expressive in this unexpected position.
Bright red tail feathers fan beside the darker wings, bringing a vivid burst of color to the layered grey feather patterns across the rest of the bird. Under the studio light, the lifted talons and open beak stand out clearly while the fine texture of the plumage continues across the body. Against the clean white background, the unusual pose and brilliant red tail remain unmistakable, giving the African grey portrait a playful companion-bird character.

PRINTED FABRIC ONLY: For the Do-It-Yourselfers, our prints are also available as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY linen canvas fabric panels.
If you order your print as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY you will receive only the five pieces of canvas fabric, printed with the design of your choice and rolled up for shipping.
These fabric panels include a white border for attaching to stretcher bars, foam core or whatever mounting method you choose. This border can be trimmed upon request.
To achieve the best fit and finish at the lowest cost we do recommend that you order your print gallery wrapped and let us do the stretching and mounting for you, but the choice is ultimately up to you!
