A traditional Curacao Chalan fishing boat sits near the shore at Playa Grandi as the sun drops behind its bow. A sharp sunburst breaks through the clouds, reflecting across the wet sand and shallow water around the skiff. Low waves meet the beach beneath the fading daylight, with the boat resting along a quiet Caribbean shoreline at the end of the day.
Beyond the skiff, a rocky jetty and forested headland mark the edge of the beach before the open sea, while the dark boat remains outlined against the fading sky. At low tide, the traditional Chalan connects the coastal setting to Curacao's maritime heritage, surrounded by calm water and soft evening light in an easy, unhurried shoreline setting.
Display it in a living room or guest lounge with another travel themed print to extend the easy sense of escape. A rustic driftwood console table provides a relaxed maritime reference, while a warm amber glass table lamp continues the sunset color range through the room.

GALLERY WRAPPED: If you order your print GALLERY WRAPPED (which we highly recommend), you will receive all 5 panels professionally stretched and mounted to our custom-built wood stretcher bars in the classic gallery wrap style. 100% hand-made in our shop with love and attention to detail, our gallery wrapped prints are ready to hang upon delivery.
PRINTED FABRIC ONLY: For the Do-It-Yourselfers, our prints are also available as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY linen canvas fabric panels.
If you order your print as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY you will receive only the five pieces of canvas fabric, printed with the design of your choice and rolled up for shipping.
These fabric panels include a white border for attaching to stretcher bars, foam core or whatever mounting method you choose. This border can be trimmed upon request.
To achieve the best fit and finish at the lowest cost we do recommend that you order your print gallery wrapped and let us do the stretching and mounting for you, but the choice is ultimately up to you!
