Product Details
The Matterhorn rises majestically above Lake Riffelsee beneath a streaked blue sky, its sharp pyramidal summit edged with lingering snow above the high-altitude terrain near Zermatt. The lake lies perfectly still below the mountain, reflecting the lower slopes in clear alpine light while rugged ground and surrounding snowfields beautifully frame the water. Across the open basin, the familiar peak stands proudly above the glacial lake with the Swiss Alps stretching out around it.
Moraine ridges and patchy snowfields border Lake Riffelsee as the Matterhorn towers beyond the basin, with still water and clear reflections below the steep rock faces. Muted mountain tones and sparse snow continue across the open terrain beneath the streaked sky, leaving the summit clear above the basin. The calm lake reflects the surrounding slopes as rugged ground leads back toward the sharply outlined Matterhorn.
In a living room or lobby, pair it with another Matterhorn themed print to create a Swiss Alps display. A Matterhorn scale model fits naturally nearby, with a deep slate gray area rug picking up the mountain tones.
