A broad field of mature winter wheat rolls across the Palouse in late-summer gold, extending toward the low hills of Eastern Washington beneath a clear blue sky. Alternating bands of sunlight and shade from white cumulus clouds cross the grain, adding gentle variation to the expansive amber field. Sparse tree clusters near the base of the hills remain small against the open countryside, with miles of quiet farmland stretching around them.
Long cloud shadows cool sections of the wheat beneath the bright afternoon sky, while rounded loess slopes form a low horizon beyond the field. Scattered windbreaks and distant trees appear across the rolling farmland without interrupting its broad sweep. Mature grain continues toward the hills in the final stretch before harvest, giving the Palouse its spacious late-summer character.
Display it in a living room or office lobby with another landscape themed print to continue the open-country setting. Dried wheat brings a direct connection to the farmland, and a pale blue linen throw pillow echoes the clear summer sky.

PRINTED FABRIC ONLY: For the Do-It-Yourselfers, our prints are also available as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY linen canvas fabric panels.
If you order your print as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY you will receive only the five pieces of canvas fabric, printed with the design of your choice and rolled up for shipping.
These fabric panels include a white border for attaching to stretcher bars, foam core or whatever mounting method you choose. This border can be trimmed upon request.
To achieve the best fit and finish at the lowest cost we do recommend that you order your print gallery wrapped and let us do the stretching and mounting for you, but the choice is ultimately up to you!
