Edward S. Curtis's 1905 photograph shows Oglala Lakota leaders on horseback at Pine Ridge Reservation, with tipis rising behind them across the open prairie. Several riders wear feathered war bonnets and traditional regalia, while the horses stand closely grouped beneath the pale sky, creating a formal black-and-white record of the gathering.
Tipi poles rise behind the mounted leaders as the prairie continues beyond the encampment, with riders and horses gathered beneath the open sky. Traditional clothing and feathered war bonnets remain visible throughout the group, while the black-and-white photograph retains the texture and detail of the 1905 setting. The horses, tipis, and open prairie place the Oglala Lakota leaders firmly within the Pine Ridge landscape captured by Curtis.

If you order your print as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY you will receive only the five pieces of canvas fabric, printed with the design of your choice and rolled up for shipping.
These fabric panels include a white border for attaching to stretcher bars, foam core or whatever mounting method you choose. This border can be trimmed upon request.
To achieve the best fit and finish at the lowest cost we do recommend that you order your print gallery wrapped and let us do the stretching and mounting for you, but the choice is ultimately up to you!
