Mount Kirkjufell rises from the dark shoreline beneath broad green bands of the Northern Lights, with the mountain and aurora reflected in the still water below. Its sharp peak stands against the deep Icelandic sky as the shoreline divides the landmark from its near-perfect mirrored image. Stars and green light spread above the calm water, surrounding the isolated mountain in the quiet darkness of this recognizable Icelandic landscape.
Across Grundarfjordur, small stars remain visible around the aurora as soft green bands stretch over the horizon and ripple across the water's surface. Kirkjufell stands beside the glow and repeats in the dark reflection below, its distinctive outline running from summit to shoreline. The open sky and quiet water hold rich blue-and-green tones around the mountain, while the remote nighttime setting settles into the stillness of Iceland after dark.

GALLERY WRAPPED: If you order your print GALLERY WRAPPED (which we highly recommend), you will receive all 5 panels professionally stretched and mounted to our custom-built wood stretcher bars in the classic gallery wrap style. 100% hand-made in our shop with love and attention to detail, our gallery wrapped prints are ready to hang upon delivery.
PRINTED FABRIC ONLY: For the Do-It-Yourselfers, our prints are also available as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY linen canvas fabric panels.
If you order your print as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY you will receive only the five pieces of canvas fabric, printed with the design of your choice and rolled up for shipping.
These fabric panels include a white border for attaching to stretcher bars, foam core or whatever mounting method you choose. This border can be trimmed upon request.
To achieve the best fit and finish at the lowest cost we do recommend that you order your print gallery wrapped and let us do the stretching and mounting for you, but the choice is ultimately up to you!
