Rakotzbrucke, the Devil's Bridge in Kromlau, curves above still lake water, its basalt arch meeting the reflection below to form the landmark's famous near-perfect circle. Dense green trees and quiet parkland close around the span under clear daylight, giving the Saxony setting a peaceful, fairytale-like character. With the water almost motionless beneath the narrow stone arch, one of Germany's most memorable bridges seems suspended within the woodland.
At each end of the arch, basalt spires rise from the bank and bring a rugged old-world texture to the slender bridge. Purple rhododendrons bloom along the right bank, softening the green woodland as the circle remains mirrored across the lake. The bridge keeps a quiet architectural presence among the flowers and trees, with the mirror-like water drawing the whole setting into the hidden calm of Kromlau Park.

PRINTED FABRIC ONLY: For the Do-It-Yourselfers, our prints are also available as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY linen canvas fabric panels.
If you order your print as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY you will receive only the five pieces of canvas fabric, printed with the design of your choice and rolled up for shipping.
These fabric panels include a white border for attaching to stretcher bars, foam core or whatever mounting method you choose. This border can be trimmed upon request.
To achieve the best fit and finish at the lowest cost we do recommend that you order your print gallery wrapped and let us do the stretching and mounting for you, but the choice is ultimately up to you!
