A weathered roadside motel sign stands beneath a clear desert sky, its MOTEL letters set into peeling red paint, rusted metal, and exposed neon tubing. Heavy channel letters rise from the sun-baked surface while dark rust cuts through the coral-red face. Chipped paint and faded neon give the old highway marker the gritty presence of a mid-century landmark left to weather in the bright desert light.
Turquoise paint crosses one side of the battered sign as oxidized streaks and rough edges reveal years of heat and exposure. Low saguaro cacti sit in the distance, placing the old motel marker along a southwestern highway beneath the open sky. The faded neon and worn metal hold onto the color and nostalgia of roadside travel even as the desert continues to age them.
Hang it in a garage or diner alongside another travel themed print to continue the classic highway atmosphere. A framed vintage motel postcard brings in roadside nostalgia, and a turquoise throw pillow carries the weathered blue tones through the surrounding space.

PRINTED FABRIC ONLY: For the Do-It-Yourselfers, our prints are also available as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY linen canvas fabric panels.
If you order your print as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY you will receive only the five pieces of canvas fabric, printed with the design of your choice and rolled up for shipping.
These fabric panels include a white border for attaching to stretcher bars, foam core or whatever mounting method you choose. This border can be trimmed upon request.
To achieve the best fit and finish at the lowest cost we do recommend that you order your print gallery wrapped and let us do the stretching and mounting for you, but the choice is ultimately up to you!
