A golden wheat field stretches toward a rustic stone cottage beneath gathering storm clouds, with a dirt track curving through the ripe grain before disappearing among the trees around the house. Sunlight still reaches part of the field through a break in the cloud cover, leaving warm wheat beneath the shaded countryside and darkening sky. The cottage remains in the last band of light as the storm gathers beyond the field.
Deep indigo clouds cover much of the horizon, while the cottage roof and upper wheat remain within a band of warm light and mature trees surround the stone house. The far edge of the field has already fallen into shadow, placing the illuminated cottage and grain directly beside the darker weather. Across the countryside, the remaining sunlight narrows between the ripe field and the approaching storm.
Display in a living room or restaurant with another landscape themed print to extend the dramatic pastoral theme; a stone cottage model nearby suits the rural subject, while a deep indigo accent pillow carries the storm-sky color naturally into the room.

PRINTED FABRIC ONLY: For the Do-It-Yourselfers, our prints are also available as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY linen canvas fabric panels.
If you order your print as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY you will receive only the five pieces of canvas fabric, printed with the design of your choice and rolled up for shipping.
These fabric panels include a white border for attaching to stretcher bars, foam core or whatever mounting method you choose. This border can be trimmed upon request.
To achieve the best fit and finish at the lowest cost we do recommend that you order your print gallery wrapped and let us do the stretching and mounting for you, but the choice is ultimately up to you!
