The red Sorihashi Bridge rises over a still pond at Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine in Osaka, its vermilion rails mirrored in the water below. Pine and maple trees fill the banks around the bridge, with stone lanterns, mossy edges, and shaded garden paths giving the scene the quiet detail of a traditional Japanese shrine garden.
The steep drum-bridge arch forms a bold shape above the water, and the clean reflection gives the pond a calm, settled feel. Forest green leaves, olive moss, stone gray banks, and bright red rails keep the view vivid without making it busy.
Hang in a media room or cultural center lobby and pair with another bridge themed print for a calm Japanese garden focal point; add a stone lantern figurine for shrine character and a vibrant red lacquered decorative tray to echo the vermilion arch.

PRINTED FABRIC ONLY: For the Do-It-Yourselfers, our prints are also available as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY linen canvas fabric panels.
If you order your print as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY you will receive only the five pieces of canvas fabric, printed with the design of your choice and rolled up for shipping.
These fabric panels include a white border for attaching to stretcher bars, foam core or whatever mounting method you choose. This border can be trimmed upon request.
To achieve the best fit and finish at the lowest cost we do recommend that you order your print gallery wrapped and let us do the stretching and mounting for you, but the choice is ultimately up to you!
