The South African flag stretches across a deeply weathered surface, its distinctive Y-shaped bands meeting cleanly at the center beneath the distressed finish. Rough grain, scattered specks, faded patches, and worn areas move through the national colors without hiding the design, so the flag remains bold and immediately recognizable. The aged surface gives the image a rugged industrial character while keeping the central geometry clear.
Across the worn background, green, black, yellow, white, red, and blue remain distinct as the Y-shaped structure runs from the edges toward the center. Dark marks and uneven texture suggest age, but the national design holds its shape throughout. That contrast between surface wear and the intact flag brings a strong sense of heritage to the distinctly South African image.

GALLERY WRAPPED: If you order your print GALLERY WRAPPED (which we highly recommend), you will receive all 5 panels professionally stretched and mounted to our custom-built wood stretcher bars in the classic gallery wrap style. 100% hand-made in our shop with love and attention to detail, our gallery wrapped prints are ready to hang upon delivery.
PRINTED FABRIC ONLY: For the Do-It-Yourselfers, our prints are also available as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY linen canvas fabric panels.
If you order your print as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY you will receive only the five pieces of canvas fabric, printed with the design of your choice and rolled up for shipping.
These fabric panels include a white border for attaching to stretcher bars, foam core or whatever mounting method you choose. This border can be trimmed upon request.
To achieve the best fit and finish at the lowest cost we do recommend that you order your print gallery wrapped and let us do the stretching and mounting for you, but the choice is ultimately up to you!
