A windsurfer launches above a breaking wave, with a blue, pink, and white sail sharply visible through the sea spray. Below the rider, a slate-blue swell breaks into churning whitewater as the board clears the rough surface at the height of the maneuver. For a split second, rider, sail, and board are suspended above the breaking sea, showing the speed and elevation of big-wave windsurfing in one concentrated action scene.
Mist streams from the crest as the swell folds into whitewater below, while the bright sail remains crisp against the muted ocean. Rough water and spray surround the airborne board near the steep wave face as the rider holds a controlled position through the maneuver. High above the breaking swell, that controlled position emphasizes the difficulty and intensity of the move, with the vivid sail still distinct against the stormy sea.

GALLERY WRAPPED: If you order your print GALLERY WRAPPED (which we highly recommend), you will receive all 5 panels professionally stretched and mounted to our custom-built wood stretcher bars in the classic gallery wrap style. 100% hand-made in our shop with love and attention to detail, our gallery wrapped prints are ready to hang upon delivery.
PRINTED FABRIC ONLY: For the Do-It-Yourselfers, our prints are also available as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY linen canvas fabric panels.
If you order your print as PRINTED FABRIC ONLY you will receive only the five pieces of canvas fabric, printed with the design of your choice and rolled up for shipping.
These fabric panels include a white border for attaching to stretcher bars, foam core or whatever mounting method you choose. This border can be trimmed upon request.
To achieve the best fit and finish at the lowest cost we do recommend that you order your print gallery wrapped and let us do the stretching and mounting for you, but the choice is ultimately up to you!
